Audi Assist The Audi Dealer network has acquired a fleet of new Audi Q5’s for the Audi Assist programme, for the first time ever the fleet of 44 vehicles will be made up solely of the Audi Q5 SUV. This ensures that Audi Assist is adequately resourced to support Audi customers no matter where they travel in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Each Audi Assist unit has a trained Audi technician dedicated to a particular vehicle. In addition, the vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art mobile diagnostic equipment as well as a comprehensive toolkit to assist in the roadside recovery process. In conjunction with an extensive national Dealer network, Audi Assist aims to repair any minor faults that may arise during travel. Where this is not possible, the customer’s vehicle will be moved to the nearest Audi Dealership. Audi Assist is designed to move Audi customers to safety and thereafter customers will be given the option of hotel accommodation or courtesy transport to continue their journey, should they find themselves further than 100km from home.
