Auditions continue tonight at 7.30pm for Arabian Nights, which plays from 8th-16th May. Ancient Baghdad - King Shahryar discovers his wife in the arms of a slave; he kills them both and from then on, every night he marries, loves and kills a virgin girl, so that he will never be betrayed again. When they run out of virgins Scheherezade is the last one standing… She is not a woman ready to die. She has a gift and she is going to use it. Her gift is Stories… The stories of the Arabian Nights, as delicious and fragrant as Turkish Delight. Each night she tells a different tale to simply stay alive.
