Audrey Horning- Weber has a question. ~ Diane Question on foods to give to a hen who deals with sour crop. I saw that someone mentioned giving none fermenting foods to a hen that deals with sour crop. Does anyone have suggestions of none fermenting foods? I have one sweet girl who has dealt with sour crop on several occasions. She has been suctioned out by the vet with great success, and is good for awhile, but ends up with it every once in awhile. Trying to watch her diet. She is just getting over another bout of this. She is on anti fungal. She is the only one of my nine who has issues. I do think there is an underlying issue that causes this with her, so need to learn about helpful foods. I did give her Greek yogurt, kefir, and both were plain. Thanks.
