Aug 4 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9 Taking my walk in woods today. Delightful morning: coolish, birds singing, rabbits. And gnats. Dive bombing me. Breathe one in. So deep, can’t blow it out. Tickles. sneezing. Sneeze, sneeze, sneeze. Body’s way of expelling gnats. Cleansing itself from germs. Ridding itself of viruses. Blasting out pollutants. Cleansing. Cleaning out anything that might harm the body or make it sick. I sometimes sneeze ten or 12 times in a row, for no discernible reason. People will say, “Bless you!” Even strangers bless me. Lord, help me to use my sneezes as a prompt From Your Spirit within me To attain true Blessing. Sneezes that remind me to confess The spiritual pollutants The invasive germs Malignant viruses Aggressive gnats That invade me: Sins of selfishness Of disengagement Of envy Anger Gossip Procrastination. Confessing. Cleansed. Truly Blessed.
