Aug. 9, 2014-----5:37 pm. Watched Budweiser video four times, got choked up, called to check on Gracie. A lot of her numbers are getting closer to normal. I do not understand a lot of the terminology. Dr. Barbie, feel free to call ER so you can explain some of this, lol. It can show up in comments because I do not know how to get it to everyone if you pm. What I understand, dextrose being reduced, sugar number is at 129. Meds are being changed to oral. She went to potty when taken out of kennel. When she sees someone, she whimpers for them to take her out of kennel. She is getting spoiled with all the attention. She still has some problems and may need to wait until Monday to come home because I want to be sure she gets the best possible medical care ( we cannot do it at home ) without being at risk if wide awake experienced medical personnel vs. family sleeping at home situation happens. She has come too far for us to take any chances now. Vet was going to let her come home due to financial concerns, but she stressed COULD come home, but if possible, continued treatment. I would rather pay 48 more hours care than have to transport her back and forth. She has a way of looking at me that makes me feel guilty for driving her from place to place for more treatment. I love that little girl and I know that I am going to be job hunting as soon as she feels a little better and does not need to be driven back and forth. THANKS for ALL of YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS!!!!
