August 1, 2013 at 9:08 am Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate the parents of a newborn baby boy found outside an ambulance station in Rockhampton early this morning. Around 12.40am staff received a phone call made from out the front of the Fitzroy Street building. The newborn baby appears to be in good health and was transported to the Rockhampton Base Hospital for observation. Police, who wish to check on the welfare of the mother, are appealing to anyone who can help identify her to contact them.
