Well tuck our money into our pockets, speaking about how hard-earned it is, only to be spent on extravaganzas to entertain our leaders, so that theyll get the impression of our capabilities. Well pick up tasks and wear them like make-up - on the surface for people to see, while the country blisters beneath it. Well show how progressive we are with civilization in the fancy watches we wear, and the shine of it will distract you from the dirt were living in. Well cut down trees because it didnt budge and that was problematic - while we ourselves have taken root in our bad habits saying, but weve always done it this way. Ill see you over coffee and well speak sweetly about how were going to make a difference. Well change the world, wed say, but working on our backyards is too much work.
