August 12, 2014 - Word for Today 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) - For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Point to Remember: In being the righteousness of God, you must be able to make righteous decisions without worrying about your reputation. You must be able to stand for and on the Word of God no matter what people say about you. You must be trustworthy and full of integrity. Beloved, many people claim to be God’s child, but their daily walk does not compliment profession. To be righteous is a lifestyle not a Sunday morning performance. This must be you and you must be it. Wherever you go, people should notice something different about you. You should never lead the gossip in your office and then want to quote scriptures. There are certain things you cannot nor should not be doing. (SN: As you go today, make sure you are speaking and living the same thing … Christ!)
