August 16, 2013 Seasonal Meeting re: 2014 Seasonal Camping Rates Seasonal packets/contracts were distributed to each seasonal family in attendance. GM Charity Ashley indicated that Jeannie Bowman would also be e-mailing the contracts to each seasonal family as well. Please make sure that Jeannie has your e-mail address. The 2013 camping season is being extended until October 31, 2013. Next year, depending on how harsh the winter is, the 2014 camping season will run either 4/15/14 to 10/15/14 OR 5/1/14 to 10/31/14. The season will be a complete 6 month period of time. Seasonals will be advised of the dates of the season by Facebook and e-mail. The charges for camping for seasonal are as follows: Full hookups with water and electric = $2,800 (including electric)* (Sites with water and electric include dump fee and electric/ there is no opt out for dumping) Waterfront, full hookups = $3,225 (including electric) (same as above) Golf cart fee* = $ 150 (due 5/1/14) Boat fee* = $ 50 (due 5/1/14) Winter Storage = $ 200 (due 10/1/13) Golf Cart Storage Fee** = $ 50 (due 10/1/13) *Stickers will be provided when payment is made which will need to be placed on the golf cart or boat. **Golf Carts will be stored in the 76 Building. There will be no discount for paying in full. A $50 late fee will be applied if your payment is not received by the 8th of each month that your payment is due. Payments are due on: September 5, 2013 November 5, 2013 February 5, 2014 Opening Day – Balance is due Morgan RV Resorts offered a discount for paying in full because they had a cash flow problem and needed the money. We are not in that position which, in essence, is a good thing. There are no payments, back to back, i.e. Sept/Oct, Nov/Dec . . . As indicated above, consideration was made with respect to due dates so that no payments are due in Dec/January due to the Christmas holiday. Please note: If you are unable to meet your $500 payment, please see Charity Ashley to discuss and she will arrange a monthly payment plan for you. Do not just skip a payment as a penalty $50 late fee will be applied. Charity is willing to work with you so that you can make your payments. Your site will not be secured/saved until your contract is turned in and your $500 deposit is paid. If payment and packet are not turned in by 9/30/13, your site becomes available for another seasonal to have. If you wish to change sites, please stop in the office and complete a form indicating this. Charity indicated that the 2014 Seasonal Contract includes a Golf Cart Agreement. Number 10 of this Agreement indicates that failure to abide by the operational guidelines shall be penalized as follows: 1st Violation = warning to be given 2nd Violation = Revocation of permit and privilege to operate a golf cart at the Campground. Another change in the golf cart rules is that a driver of the golf cart must hold a valid driver’s license AND must be 18 years of age or older. Discussion was held regarding the change of fees in this contract compared to the 2013 Seasonal Contract. Charity indicated that $75 was added to last year’s rate, but that there is NO $150 electric fee on top of that rate. If you end this 2013 season with a balance of your $150 electric fee, that balance will be deducted from your 2014 Seasonal Contract fee. Before you turn in your contract, please complete all information necessary, sign in each place indicated that a signature is required AND initial each and every page of the Contract indicating that you have read each page of the Contract. Bike reflectors and/or lights must be on all bicycles if ridden after dark. Charity indicated that she is going out of town on Sunday, August 19, 2013 until Friday, August 23, 2013.
