August 19th. 2014. Another Special meeting happened tonight. We had quite a few new people, which was great! Always great to make new friends, isnt it :) Today we had a very nice young guest speaker, Kayla, who shared about us being Gods masterpiece. Do you know what a masterpiece is? Its the best thing that the person has made. For example, for an artist, their masterpiece is their best drawings. For a musician, its their best song written ever. We are Gods masterpiece. We are his best made creation. He made it perfect. He made each one unique, and each one of them were His masterpiece. But through life, through us listening to others and putting extra bits onto ourselves, we have become different from the masterpiece that God originally made. So God is offering to chip off all the extra parts that we have put on through our journey of life. He is saying, let me chisel it off you. He is wanting to make you into His masterpiece again. I want to challenge you tonight. All of those reading this. Do you believe, that God made you? Do you believe, that you were made as His masterpiece? Do you acknowledge, that you have taken on extra bits and pieces onto yourself, changing from what God originally made? And are you willing, to allow God chisel that off from you? Have a wee think, and if youre not sure, try asking God :) He will answer you. Next meeting is on the 2nd of September, 2014. 6:30pm at South City C3 Church.
