August 2, in the year of our LORD 2013 Thanksgiving & Prayer. There are simply some things that no one, not even the smartest people, can understand without the Holy Spirit. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Cor 2:12-14♥ Friend... Pray for specific people, by name, that are on your heart today. Heavenly Father, I ask that you bless the following people with the knowledge of your will so that they can have full spiritual wisdom and understanding that only comes through the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I ask this. Amen. Good morning :) One of the greatest blessings we can ask God to send to our brothers and sisters in Christ is to pray for them. To fill them with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives. Yes, I need this blessing today & every day.
