August 2006... I was hit on my motorcycle by an SUV...After several broken bones...a severe head injury, the amputation of my left leg, a hospital stay of over a month & a two month rehab stay in a nursing home...my life as I knew it was over. My husband of 33 yrs this year, Kevin promised to get me home and back to health. People said I would be too much of a burden & our love couldnt withstand my physical damage. Well...it has bee 8 years this year & this wonderful man has NEVER left my side. I do not depend on a wheelchair...with his love & guidance, I am as NORMAL as I ever was...missing a few parts & now some assembly is required....but he has made my life worthwhile. My children have NEVER considered me handicapped but more handi-capable. I thank God for the love and devotion of my husband, Kevin Holt & my three sons, Kade...Damien & Aaron! Thanks guys! Love you all!
