August 2010, Im performing at a poetry slam, I see a girl selling wine and chocolates. Beautiful brunette, with killer eyes and cute glasses. I say to myself that girl is marriage material. Went on one date, didnt make a move, so I dropped the ball until... Fast-Forward to October 20th, 2013. We had been skyping each other for some time. She was in China teaching English. She came back and I took Kathleen to go see Carrie at the drive-in. I also shared with Kathleen the butt of my Chipotle burrito. And you dont just share the burrito butt with anyone because thats the best part. That was also the night I awkwardly asked her so can I, maybe, start calling you my girlfriend? And she laughed, we kissed. But this made it official. And fast-forward to one year later: married with a baby on the way. Who would have thought? I found the love of my life. And yes we are going through some difficult times with my health. But it doesnt matter because we make each other laugh everyday. And to wake up next to her everyday is all I could ask for. Well that and hopefully get famous being hilarious. And a beautiful baby girl due in January. I love you baby.
