Then they spoke to the NAYAKS OF VIJAYANAGARA IN MADRASAPATINAM who sold South India to Andrew Cogan and Francis Day for some lakhs. and they started the trade slowly. today this vast place is named after different city and Madrasapatinam was still called for a city in south east Inidan province which after independance named Chennai
