August 23, 2013 Toomey to hold Town Hall in Danville By Karen Blackledge The Daily Item — DANVILLE – U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-PA, is hosting a series of town hall meetings with constituents across the Commonwealth. One of the meetings will include the Danville area. Toomey will hold a town hall meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Aug. 26 in The Pine Barn Inn, 1 Pine Barn Place. “It will be great to hear from Pennsylvanians in a town hall setting that is at the heart of our representative democracy,” Sen. Toomey said. “I have been crisscrossing the state this summer and I’ve heard from so many constituents who want to see our economy grow by creating jobs, rolling back excessive regulations and putting our nation on a sustainable fiscal path. I look forward to constructive discussions,” he said.
