August 25 2014 History Weariness Always, Petitions Another day dawns as the human soul seeks for more than that which it has been given. Life itself has been bestowed upon the creature and, ultimately, the human has evolved to the point that it wants what it wants without labor. The human has fallen into the addiction to slavery in which we offer the minimum as long as the master cares for us...In the manner that we want. Soon, labor becomes meaningless as we measure not what we do, but rather for what do we labor. Look. Hundreds of years have evolved creatures investing their currency into that which may return huge sums for no cost to us. Indeed, I work, but I want someone to turn my penny into thousands of dollars... And we wonder why our children look at baby birds awaiting the worm. Soon, we convince ourselves that that cosmic growth begun at the Big Bang and mirrored in the mystery of each creature born of woman growing from nothing is the order of humanitys own societies. Hence, if our expansive obesity is frustrated we roar and whine and seek again the Master Wizard to ensure our trinkets. From God to Kings to Philosophers to Scientists we keep crying out to the Wizards to keep us as children. See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called Children of God, and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.(1 Jn 3:1) And, this heart ponders the meaning behind his daily imitation of exegesis. He neither knows the ancient Hebrew or Greek or Latin through which hundreds of years of speculation and meditation have handed down to us the Traditions of our Fathers; regardless of the congregation. This heart, indeed, looks into the sweet poetry of the Biblical Narrative through the prism of his own lifes experiences which has been colored by a genetic lineage to long for human to follow, yearning for futures dreamt of by his ancestors in their prophecies of the children created in the sacred communion between male and female. Any creature can gaze upon its life and find within its forms the dreams drawing its parents toward the creation of children. Allowing for a moment of quiet we are capable of embracing our beloved in the sweet mystery of the Gift. Look upon this embrace as but incomprehensibly improbable accident of nature, or, the Miraculous gift of the Divine answering your prayer, accept then the preciousness of this wonder. Whether we appeared from Clay or over eons in which the slug could eventually create the Mona Lisa; or The Brothers Karamazov; or the Theories of Evolution and Relativity; we find ourselves bowing before the Mystery. And, we either accept it, or we turn inward becoming gluttonously ravenous. Look at the mirrors of the Vampires and Zombies, or the Morlock and the Eloi. See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called Children of God, and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.(1 Jn 3:1) This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has not man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends...You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go an bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he shall give it to you. This I command you, to love one another.(Jn 15:12-17) I gave you a land on which you had not labored, and cities which you had not built, and you dwell therein; you eat the fruit of vineyards and oliveyards which you did not plant.(Jos. 24:12-13) Were it not for the Roman Traditions of my fathers...The sweet faith within the Practice of my mother...The wisdom offered by education offered to me as well as the invitation back into the Word of the Protester...Nor the time given to me through temporal gifts miraculous, I could not enter into the study of the Word. Indeed, my mind still is filled with the lusts and sins of all humanity. My heart still beats with a gluttony that relegates my beloved and our son to the distant lands of beyond my walls. My soul still calls upon the Father and the adorable Beauty of His Son to give me rewards for my pitiful inability to follow the Way and the Path. So, what then do these pitiful imitations of scholarly exegesis seek? Like the child pretending to work...Like the toddler imitating his older brother, or son mirroring its father, the mind drifts back into the bestial past of our primate instincts while gazing ahead toward the ascent toward the Divine. 24:12-13) Sincerely, do I seek not to minimize that which others find sacred, nor to mock those hopes offering succor to the weary. I bloat not with some form of arrogance allowing me into the chambers of wise men, nor do I hope to unearth precious new gems with which to reward my own yearnings. I bear the emptiness into which I send these words for but rewards of not having listened...listened to parents and teachers and angelic guided surrounding me through my life. The silence responding to my desperate prayers is but the echoes of my own horrific ignorance of those innocents that have reached out to me for support. Like those modern images of the human floating in the depths of cosmic silence do I feel my heart and soul pouring these monologues out reflecting lesson of Onan. Life and prayer commune in the pre-dawn darkness. I would lead you and bring you Into the house of my mother, And into the chamber of her that conceived me.(Song 8:2) Many waters cannot quench love, Neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love All the wealth of his house, It would be utterly scorned.(Son 8:7) O you who dwell in the Gardens, My companions are listening for your voice; Let me hear it.(Song 8:13) And...I go out again in pitifully weak human faith.
