August 25, 2014. Today is National Heroes Day. I am just wondering who are these so called national heroes that we are commemorating. We have a separate date already for Rizal, for Bonifacio, for Ninoy.... Maybe for those less known ones. I could hardly name any..... May be they did not have any impact on me personally. And for me my heroes are those who were there during the lowest point of my life. In the most nadir of all. These are the real heroes for me. There presence added joy, strength and confidence and the zeal to move on. These are heroes who made tremendous impact on my person and my destiny. I would like to cite them in esteem today as My Personal Heroes Day. Anyway, the nation celebrates those heroes that place a legacy for the country. Kinsa man to sila oi, kalimot na jud. Si Lapulapu diay..... ang atong national fish. Sila diay si Mabini, del Pilar, si Dagohoy, ha ha ha , Oi di baya sayon mag-hero....dapat, magkadugo sa ka sa guerra....and to do the extraordinary things that would take more than a human being can do...... Sus di na lang ko magpakahero........Any way I am already my own hero and no one else.....(ako ray nahibalo). And so does everyone else.
