Payne, 53 Ladder 25 He died when he was caught in a flashover of some type when the entire ceiling in the ”Tai Ho” restaurant, 1721 Centre Street collapsed and engulfed him in flames while operating at Box 281 (Centre Street and Manthrone Road) 4 alarms, he had 19 years of service. ##### August 29, 2007, Firefighter Paul J. Cahill, 56 Engine 30 He died from injuries received while operating at Box 281 (Centre Street and Manthrone Road) 4 alarms, he had 14 years of service. The alarms were sounded at 2105 hours, 2nd alarm at 2109 hours, 3rd alarm at 2117 hours and the 4th alarm at 2125 hours. He had 14 years of service.
