Announcements A. Contact List a. Lexer has the admin contact list put on our z-drive B. Constitution Day a. We’re still going to ask questions for 9/11 as a contingency plan b. Catheleen Cabral is working on getting Power 104.3 to overlap at the same time as we are tabling • They’ll be out there from 11-2p.m. c. 12:45p.m.- setup C. 9/11 a. Café is going to charge us for the coffee • Michael will find out what we can get for $60 • Travis from the café said that 30++ cups of coffee= $45 • Michael will talk to Kimo Bean and Starbucks b. Mike is working on getting the flag guys c. 9/11 flyer, we were going to use the same flyer for Pearl City and Waianae campus II. Pros: • Lemonade was great • Well organized • Nicely decorated • Food choices were good • Entertainment was great! • Quick setup and break down • Good raffle prizes 2. Cons: • Stick wall didn’t stick • Better equipment • Weather too hot • Too festive (ex. No need table skirts) • Too early during the semester • Not tacos enough though • More food at HQ • Not enough staff at HQ • Better marketing 3. Suggestion: • Perhaps have a booth for card validation (ex. “Validation Express”) • Coupons for variety of food at HQ C. Campus Trail Committee a. Michael talked to Mark Lane • They’ll be meeting sometime in September • Wants more students and the Fitness club to help promote b. Maybe Michael should email the student clubs c. Michael will type a blurb to Lexer for students about seeking assistance with the Fitness track D. B&F Workshop a. Workshop is tomorrow at 3:00p.m. b. Senators are welcome to attend E. Office Duties & Stipend Rules a. Stipend Rules: • 3 excused absences per semester • 2 Unexcused absences will result in stipend deduction • Office hours don’t worry when we have SG related things b. Office Duties • Sign-in/ sign-out sheet • SG related business first before personal • Don’t print too much of your personal items c. Tabling • Worth ½ and event • We have 5 events per semester d.
