August 29, 2036: The tense standoff between Russia and the rest of Europe explodes into war, as German and Polish forces drive deep into Belarus, on their way towards Moscow. Within four hours, all Russian military stations come under heavy attack, and by the end of the day all Russian low orbit satellites are destroyed. Russia pledges aid to her satellite state and moves forces westward. The European Union pledges neutrality and denies all warring parties’ access to European space assets. The Eastern European War would be last conflict fought before the discovery alien life forms.
