August 29 – Update from Lisa Chernomoretz I know it has been a while since there was any update on Lisa but they have been very busy extending their visa to continue Lisa’s treatment and… Lisa and her mother are now checked out of the hospital!!! Lisa will continue her treatment outside of hospital walls while living at apartment provided by one of volunteers. It tickles me to hear it. I know they were pretty tired of hospital walls. Thank you for supporting this little angel in your prayers. This progress would not be possible without you!! Lisa feels good right now. She is playing, jabbering something in her own language and demands food. Yes, she is still on a moderate rations but we are hoping that it will be increased in near future (no, she is not chubby – the outfit you see on the picture is too big for her but she will grow into it). She is fed through the abdominal catheter that was installed 1.5 weeks ago BUT now she can go up to 4 hours per day without being connected to it ))) Lisa’s mother purchased for her a yellow shirt. Not sure if it was a good idea – she didn’t want to take it off at all. Her mother was dressing her in pink all this time but apparently yellow is her favorite color ))) Thank you to everyone who extended their heart to Lisa, who is indifferent to her tribulations and supports her in prayers and through donations. Currently she has several hundreds of followers from across the world and all ways of walk who cheer for her. Thank you for being part of this support group! Help can come in many ways: word of encouragement, gentle touch, extending awareness, prayer, donation. Each one of us is capable to contribute in one of these ways and each way is greatly appreciated. For those who can contribute financially, you can send your donation to [email protected] with subject line “Lisa Chernomoretz”. For those of you who can help by means of awareness, you can click on Like on this post or at the original post that can be found at https://facebook/grossesherzfuerkleine.de For those of you who would like to extend a kind word to Lisa and her mother Irina, please e-mail me at elenaharrill@decosimo and I will translate it and pass it to Irina Chernomoretz (she knows only Russian and Ukrainian). If you desire to send a care package to them please let me know and I will get you the address where they can receive it since their stay at apartment is temporary and we don’t know how long they will be there. Please keep them in your prayers!
