August 4th.. Tonight we celebrate Maddies last night as a patient at new Hanover NICU! She passed her hearing test and her car seat test and gained almost 2oz with eating all her bottles! What a big girl! Justin and I keep revisiting the exciting realization we can snuggle our baby in her own home... Wow God is good! Our lil maddie has come a long way.. And now home bound tomorrow! Emmie is still struggling to take her whole bottles but she is vigorous and wanting to learn so we are just praying she can get good sleep to be strong to get home to maddie! Mommie and daddie got to sneak away to a long deserved movie and had a blast but then headed home to prepare the house for miss maddie! The nurses keep popping in and saying those girls look like their dad.. Hmm some strong lillywhite genes ! I love it! We are preparing for an early morning and an eventful day so we ask prayers for endurance.. But our hearts are bursting at the seams as our long awaited journey starts to see the light at the end of the tunnel for these girls... Oh what adventures are ahead! Stay tuned... I think it is going to get good!!!! Sweet dreams to all! 💗
