August 5 - Childrens Evaluation held for six of our Abbotsford Teams. All were successful, HooRay! and Congratulations! We now have: ( l to r in photo) Murphy; Casey; Kush; Sammy; Zoey (being held); and Dixie joining Shelby and Bonnie for a total of eight Child Evaluated SJA Therapy Dog Teams in the Abbotsford Division. What this status means is that these teams (dogs and handlers) have been evaluated and cleared to attend Childrens Events and or facilities in the area and attend childrens reading programs in schools and public libraries under the auspice of the St.John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program and the associated Insurance coverage.
