August 7 Anna has had a pretty good day. She did have to have her catheter put back in last night because she wasnt able to go to the bathroom. They are giving her some lasix today to pull fluid off so it might be a good thing its back in anyway. She had 2 of her 4 chest tubes and the line that went directly into the right side of her heart removed today. The also changed the dressing to the cannula sites and they look good. The best part was that she got to sleep through all of that thanks to sedation. She just got back on bed after sitting up for 45 min and she is so mad at us for making her get up. Her mood is a little better today. But everything scares her, which is understandable. Keep up the prayers for her comfort and continued progress!
