August and September National Charity Drive Information: Good Morning North Central Region, So better late than never, here is the current national charity drive. The decision was made to extend the Habitat for Humanity Drive through the end of September. That should give you plenty of time to form up a team and build a house for a family in need. If you choose to participate, I would love for the teams to take a picture or two for our regional website (pending) to show our members hard at work for local charities. This time of year there are a lot of things going on in everyones real life situations, the ability and willingness to make contributions to charity -- to help change and enrich the lives of others, is something to be applauded and, personally, makes me happy to belong to this organization. We, The Minds Eye Society, are becoming known for our collective contributions to the country through charitable acts and random kindnesses, not just monetarily, but getting out in our communities and doing things that matter and help! That being said, the drive for Habitat for Humanity is being extended to give everyone an opportunity to make a difference and help *OUR* organization rise.
