August will be my 3rd full month of my transformation journey. This is to all of the people who are #shy #sidelinespectator #homebound #couchpotatoes #depressed #selfdoubting #emotionaleaters #powerless #selfcentered ( yep I said it #selfcentered). I am not calling you out, I am calling you into action. And I do it with love. You see this was me on March 11, 2014. The next day I woke up a changed woman. What changed me was the number sixty, 60! March 12th was my birthday and I decided to make the rest of my life the best of my life. All of those hashtags above were me, that is why i am qualified to share with you that it only take one decision to #change your life and #save your life. Do not give power to anyone else to make the changes for you. I used self centered because now I realized that by not living up to my full potential and not sharing my God given gifts with the world I was being selfish. There is someone and somebodies in this world that is waiting for you to show up in your own way. So be you, and know that and know that there is no substitute for you. You are one of a kind for a reason. Find that reason and follow it. Yes! My birthday was all about me. I gave myself a shopping spree, a mani-pedi, and my daughters took me to a #Thai restaurant in downtown #Dallas for dinner. Yes that was my day! My prayer for you is that you declare your day of decision and make your dreams come true. #YouAreWorthIt #RuthTheTruth p.s i shared my desert with everyone at the table.
