Augusta Fire Chooses KME Nesquehoning, PA –KME is pleased to announce that Augusta Fire of Augusta, Georgia has awarded KME and NAFECO (KME’s Georgia Sales Representative Organization), an order for seven (7) custom pumpers and two (2) 103’ rear mount ladders.. The pumpers will be built on KME’s Predator Severe Service chassis, designed for high volume fleets. Features include a 450hp engine, 1500gpm single-stage pump, 750/30 gallon water/foam tank, Class A foam system, and a KME Challenger body. The AerialCat ladders are on the same chassis with a 500hp engine, 2000gpm pump, 500 gallon water tank and 10kw generator. These trucks will join six KME pumpers currently in production and a 103’ AerialCat already in service at the department.
