Auroras 2nd Chance is here!!! Aurora came to us with an injured spine and little feeling in the rear part of her body. We had three options to help this girl... 1) Surgery, 2) Wheelchair and 3) an option that is for us impossible unless an animal is suffering, Euthanasia. After Dr. Joemel carefully observed Auroras behavior, unfortunately surgery was not a suitable treatment as Aurora had sadly lost all sensation in her rear legs. This left us with only one route... the wheelchair! Thanks to the incredible efforts of Auroras friend, 2nd Chance Rescue volunteer Julia, her wheelchair arrived in Doha yesterday all the way from the USA. If she moves this way without her wheelchair... can you imagine how she will move with it? Watch this space to see Auroras happy ending, we will upload more videos of her enjoying her freedom soon!
