Austerity should be forever - David Cameron. How will this be done? Well it will partly be done by desensitizing you to the fact that youre poor. For example, in the early 1900s we had The Great Depression. That was actually nothing more than is happening right now. Since then we have had several recessions, again basically the same thing that is happening now. More recently into the 21st Century and we had a double-dip recession followed a year or two later by The Credit Crunch. All exactly the same as the original Great Depression. So can you see whats happening? Depression becomes recession becomes credit crunch..... Fun words and light hearted meaningless terminology such as double dipped is being used to describe an unhealthy economy. This adds a comedy element, a buzz factor, people actually then enjoy using those words and living by them (Thats media). There will be another recession soon but it will probably be called The Grand Money Hunt or something equally laugh-off-able (because thats the point).
