Australia Day 2015, Yeppoon Main Beach, 8:30AM Throw a party, and they will come. The Beach Fun Run had just completed so there were a fair number of hot, sweaty people sitting around in lycra and trainers. An amazing hodge-podge of stalls/booths spruiking every kind of who-knows-what to the unsuspecting public. SES and others setting up the sound stage; Boss man said, Its already a hot one, eh? Only 5 teams of sand castle builders showed up; pretty disappointing. Mostly I saw heaps of Mums, Das, and Bubs-in-strollers all looking sweaty and the Day had just begun! Pray for rain??
