The kumihimo consists of magatama beads, and Czech superuno beads. Extended kumihimo cord from the beads, bronze tone wire, bronze-tone chain, brass findings and charms, and my own lampwork beads. The colours and textures are exquisite in their ability to engage anyone who comes into contact with them. You simply cant stop touching it, from the pinecone roughness to the one-way smoothness of the two kumihimo weave parts, then the smoothness of the lampwork beads, worked into a chain, and then the silky liquidity of the several strands of the fine chain. Its all put together as came naturally, and is a really stunning piece of jewellery. Its like wearing five necklaces in one.
