Australia has never not poisoned dingoes :( Dingoes are currently persecuted across Australia at an all time high with the use of 1080 poison, with catastrophic consequences for our biodiversity! Dingoes have occupied the top predator role since the extinction of the thylacine... They have become the lynchpin of the ecosystem, important to the health of other animals and plants. So much research has proven this... Why then do Invasive Animals CRC (who shouldnt be involved in dingo research as its funded by powerful pastoral industry stakeholders) and is jointly funded by all three levels of government, universities, plus Australian Wool Innovation and Meat and Livestock Australia have the last say? Their research is too biased-so their results could be less reliable... They keep on arguing the same point over and over that they have been aerial and ground baiting for all these years...Yet the wild dogs are still there. Then they say that dingoes arent doing a good job at suppressing the cats and foxes, Well thats because they have destroyed their dynamic pack structure.. Duh!!!
