Juror and executive director of the CTBUH, Antony Wood, said: “Seeing this project for the first time stopped me dead. There have been major advances in the incorporation of greenery in highrise buildings over the past few years – but nothing on the scale of this building has been attempted or achieved.” The CTBUH received 88 entries for the award, with most coming from Asia and Europe. Central Park’s development director, Mick Caddey, said: “Sydney can now claim to have the best tall building in the world, which by anyone’s standards is an impressive claim to make.” Properties within this development have sold for in excess of $1.3 million. Most of the apartments have been sold, but there are still two-storey penthouse apartments available with a price guide of $2.65 million
