Australian politics are a joke. Jacqui lambie is quitting PUP. that will mean she will be an independent with balance of power. Do we really want a redneck hillbilly with an IQ smaller than her shoe size with the power to do whatever she wants? Surely our draconian parliamentary system needs a serious look at it that we get reasonably qualified persons nominating for positions of power. Individuals such as lambie and that motoring party dude should not be allowed such positions of power. Im not sure how these laws can be changed, but surely something needs to be done to attract persons with reasonable levels of education whom have proved themselves before they can be MPs?
