Australians Wake Up To CSG : 79% Now Oppose Fracking Watch Richard Denniss, the Executive Director of The Australia Institute, tell Wake Up breakfast television program on Network Ten yesterday that fracking (gas drilling) in Australia is simply too dangerous. While this interview makes clear the recent conclusive evidence from Harvard University regarding the risks of methane leakage to air and water, the csg industry is still in hiding over the facts. It is interesting that even the main industry body, the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA): the self proclaimed voice of the oil and gas industry even refused to have their say on the program. No wonder 79% of viewers have decided fracking is too dangerous.
