Authentic believers (Christians) and fake believers (people who think theyre Christians but actually arent)— I have a statement I want you to ponder. I hope this question turns your world upside down and changes the trajectory of your walk with Christ. What if the purpose of the Christian life is not just to worship God? Rather more specifically it is to find complete, ultimate, everlasting, joy and satisfaction in who God is through the person and work of Jesus Christ. Search your heart and ask: Am I truly satisfied with God through Jesus Christ or do I still have things that bring more satisfaction to me than God. The question for all of us is Yes because if we had complete enjoyment in Christ we wouldnt sin. All sin is a despising of God and his glory. . . All sin is a preference for the fleeting pleasures of the world over the everlasting joy of Gods fellowship. So pray with me— Father, the god of this world has blinded my eyes to your infinite beauty, worth, and glory— Open my mind to understand, my eyes to see, my ears to hear, and my heart to embrace the totality of your being. You are gain and everything else in this world is rubbish. I want YOU and nothing else. I want you to be glorified, magnified, exalted, made much off, extolled, loved, obeyed and adored in this body of mine. The desire of my heart is that your will, your mission, your purpose, your love, your work will be done through me. In the magnificent name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.
