Authorities in central Kashmirs Budgam today ordered the suspension of two Junior Engineers of Public Health Engineering. Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Manzoor Ahmad Lone today ordering the suspension of two Junior Engineers of Public Health Engineering Division Budgam namely JE (Hqr) with immediate effect. The action was taken on the basis of complaints received against the duo and the report submitted by Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Aijaz Ahmad while having an on spot inspection of the concerned sites and the status of works carried out, it was found in the report that both the Junior Engineers have shown serious negligence of responsibilities and dereliction of duties. While discharging their required duties Shabir Ahmad Junior Engineer found guilty of ordering the laying/fitting of pipes above the required approved estimation. Similarly Junior Engineer (Hqr) Ishtaq Ahmad found unprecedentedly delaying the execution of approved work to be carried out at Kachwari (under Sub Division Khansahib) by more than 3 months without intimating any higher authorities.
