Autism is a chronic neurodevelopmental disorder of unknown cause - TopicsExpress

Autism is a chronic neurodevelopmental disorder of unknown cause that affects approximately 1–3 percent of children and four times more boys than girls. Wow! These guys get it!! :O Well, they can properly identify what autism is, even though they dont know the cause, which is an evolutionary genetic adaptation that deals with the amount of information that we increasingly perceive and process. In order to solve that problem, of course, we need to develop new systems to help us manage that amount and perception of information. Any solution that involves using neuro-like molecules to suppress (shutting down) brain activity in order to force the brain to readapt to the world, relieving certain symptoms, is potentially damaging. Solutions that naturally decrease or enhance certain forms of brain activity such as meditation (slowing down, perceiving less external information) and natural remedies can only provide temporary relief as well, but without any negative side effects.
