Autistic and Asbergers people are often savants also, which means that in areas where they are sorely lacking, like usually social skills, they are genius in other areas like mathematics or sports, in fact anything that interests them. They usually can only focus on one thing at a time and when they do this their FULL FOCUS is on that one thing! My son displayed these signs on growing up although it is diminishing now, he is 23.
