Auto Elec inclined - I have to wire this in to my tub to run a pump for work. While Im going, thought I might run a second ciggy plug too. Im a bit of an electrical muppet, but a fast learner. So question time. 1. Needs to run when the car is off, so wire it straight to the battery. This wont draw power when unplugged? 2. Can I run 1 wire battery - tub, then split to 2x plug, or best to run separately from battery back? 3. Assuming point 2 is 1 wire: Needs an inline fuse. Do I do put that on the single wire, or 1 per plug? 4. Just to be absolutely sure, on the back of the plug, outer male is earth, inner live? 5. How badly can I stuff this up? Really? Ha! Car is a PX XL. Owner is a tight ass. Cheers!
