Autonome Nationalisten - TopicsExpress

Autonome Nationalisten The concept of Autonome Nationalisten originated in the Germany of the 90s. Due to government repression against the postwar German National-Socialist movement and many prohibitions of Nationalist organisations and political parties a counter strategy was needed. In 94 the concept of autonomy was adopted from the left wing and used as a mean to bypass government repression. Autonomy means that there are no solid organisational structures and all autonomous activists act on their own responsibility and own behalf. With this convictions are circumvented because there are no permanent structures and no leader principles. The constant execution of (direct) actions - autonomy as a revolutionary praxis - is the brand-mark of autonomous nationalist groups. The content of autonomous activism should not only be dependent on the situation, but should always be aimed at the advancement of National Socialism. Within a registered political party or within clear frames one can always face repression and prohibition. As a autonomous independent activist one can always be active on own responsibility, without having to take in account other comrades. One can get around laws that prohibit certain opinions, anti terrorist laws and forms of organisational prohibition. With this concept of autonomy also the demonstration tactic of the Black Block was adopted as a mean to counter attacks from political opposition and police forces. The collective black uniform and banners, disguises, protect from identification by the police forces as well as political opponents and offers some protection against attacks. It is a mean to engage militant action during a protest. In time the Autonomous Nationalist movements developed in several ways. Some people have adopted the concept only as a mean against repression, some groups adopted it as a new form of subculture (along with a certain music and a dress code), while others developed a ideological renewal of National-Socialism based on the concept of autonomy. Where the concept of the Autonome Nationalisten started out in Germany and the Netherlands, it later on spread through the rest of Europe, where it is now adopted in countries such as France, Italy and Greece and the East block. It meant in most cases a renewal of the traditional European nationalist movements and attracts a lot of new youth. In that sense it gave a new revolutionary impulse in the Nationalist landscape.
