Auuugh...I did a step-by-step illustration for the new book and didnt notice that the scanner was set for a smaller image! Lost about a third of all three steps. I usually just scan the whole area and crop later... So Im making progress, putting in 4 hours or so a day in addition to my other work, but it feels glacial sometimes. Ive gotten some wonderful work from other artists, so Im in the process of tucking it into the chapters where it belongs and writing captions/tweaking the text.
