AvMed Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst: Details: SCOPE OF POSITION: This position is directly engaged in all aspects of the Quality Assurance (QA) lifecycle, including planning, implementation, creating and executing test plan, test scripts, auditing, and reporting to assure delivery of a high quality product. Primary responsibilities include improving the overall QA test strategy/plan, test scripting, test execution, test Automation and supported processes throughout IT delivery organization, identifying process improvements area, write process document, and develop/maintain effective, efficient, and innovative integrated QMS departmental processes system for IT Delivery organization. Collaborate with Development teams on process improvement opportunities and business impacts, and stressing the importance of accuracy and streamlining efficient and timely processing. This position is responsible for introducing Test Automation to F/T, SIT, UAT, and Stress &Load phases to assure release delivery on timely and within budget. Also to further develop QA departmental processes to generate timely and accurate reports that are used to document and evaluate our test approach and methodology with the intention to promote standard best practices. Leads and drives change by embracing and communicating the organization’s shared vision; establishes and maintains harmonious working relationships with management, co-workers and external contacts; and works effectively in a professional team environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The ideal candidate will function in a lead role on a small Quality Assurance team responsible for the quality of several mature products and new strategic corporate initiatives. The candidate will have current experience working on Agile/Scrum teams as a tester and be able to demonstrate strong results from developing effective and efficient testing processes and testing tools. The candidate will be able to develop and execute manual test procedures across all functional testing initiatives. The candidate should be able to recommend when to employ automation to reduce manual effort. The candidate should possess the ability to create reusable and maintainable automated test scripts. In addition, the candidate should possess strong communications skills, demonstrate a strong can-do attitude, and be flexible and amenable to change in assignments to maximize the QA teams ability to deliver on all its goals. Provide QA oversight and guidance across all functional testing initiatives (Acceptance, QA Stabilization, Performance, Verification, Validation, UAT) in an Agile/Scrum software development life cycle environment Drive the quality of products and solutions through excellent communication and collaboration skills and effective analysis and risk management skills Demonstrate testing competency and attention to detail to develop respect and trust across sprint and QA teams Demonstrate ability to define measurable business requirements and develop manual test procedures and test cases that validate requirements Lead the design and development of reusable and maintainable automated QA regression test scripts (scripts, Selenium, LoadRunner). Provide leadership and guidance to other QA resources assigned to the project and help them grow their individual capabilities. Create QA test metrics to report on test plan coverage (manual and automated) and project status Create and maintain test data when required Create and adhere to test design standards and procedures Present current project status and risks to stakeholders using established information delivery processes Stay abreast of emerging testing processes and automated testing tools.
