Avacado and Chipotle-Mayo Burger Print Prep time 15 mins Cook time 15 mins Total time 30 mins This avocado and chipotle-mayo burger is based off a California burgers that you’ll find in many of your favorite burger joints. The chipotle-mayo provides a kick, and the cooling avocado is the perfect match. So good!! Author: Kris Longwell Recipe type: Hamburger Cuisine: American Serves: 4 Ingredients MAKE THE BURGERS 2 lbs of 85% sirloin beef ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper, to taste Provolone cheese, sliced 1 avocado, sliced 1 ripe tomato, sliced Green lettuce, chopped Hamburger buns, split and lightly buttered CHIPOTLE-MAYO: 1 cup of good mayonaisse 2 chipotles in Adobo sauce ¼ cup of fresh lime juice Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions MAKE THE BURGERS: Gently mix the beef, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and salt & pepper, to taste. Form into 4 patties…gently press an indention in the center of each patty. Heat your grill to medium high heat. Add the burgers. Add a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper. Cook on one side for about 5 to 6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. The last couple minutes, add the cheese. Grill the buns until lightly browned on the underside of each bun. MAKE THE CHIPOTLE-MAYO SAUCE: Add all the ingredients in your food processor and puree. Season with salt and pepper. ASSEMBLE THE BURGERS: Smear a good dose of the Chipotle-Mayo on bottom bun. Add some of the chopped lettuce. Place the burger next. Then add the sliced tomato, and then several of the avocado slices. Top with a bun.
