***Available for Adoption!*** A volunteer writes(as told by Monkey): Seriously? They named me Monkey? Please come adopt me so that you can change my name. I have plenty of ideas! I was a little nervous when I first got here, but am learning my way around and relaxing a bit. My new friend named Volunteer took me for a walk in the park, and she complimented me on how nicely I walk on the leash, and said I was a good boy when I went potty right away. Volunteer knows some people in the park so we stopped to chat for a few minutes, and everyone was happy to meet me and I wagged my tail to let them know I was happy to meet them too. Ill sit if you ask me to, and Ive learned how to take treats gently. I also play fetch and will bring the ball right back for you to take out of my mouth. They have really cool doggie play groups here and I loved playing with the other dogs - I played with girls and boys and had no issues with anyone. Im looking forward to playing again. I like soft gentle petting, and feel better when you pet me from underneath my head.....Ill show you how I like it. I think I need to gain a few pounds as I feel a bit thin and I like to look my best. Im ready to be your BFF and I think it works pretty easily - you just need to come here and ask to meet me. Im looking forward to meeting you, and discussing a name change. Can you come here today?
