Available for adoption, this is Tyler! Tyler is a 1.5-2 year old Pyrenees/Akbash male that came to us from a local kill shelter. Tyler is all about having a fun time and playing with his dog friends. He loves going on walks around his fosters five acre fenced pasture, playing in the pond, and coaxing someone into a good game of chase. He is a higher energy dog looking for an active family with at least one dog friend his size. Tyler is house trained, good manners, uses the doggie door, people friendly, not cat tested. Tyler is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped, de-wormed, but did test positive for heart worms, ultrasound showed he is lightly infected so the vet felt it best he do slow kill treatment because hes too high energy to tolerate being confined for 60 days while under fast kill treatment. Adopting family will need to keep him on the slow kill treatment and follow up with their vet for retesting as vet recommends.
