Average. Dont people know what this means anymore? It doesnt mean normal or boring or even most common. Its the result of a mathematic equation. The average weight or height or IQ or number of damn apples Tom eats per day... Theyre just basic math equations to make generalizations. It doesnt mean most girls really are 55 and 140lbs. It means there are all different heights and weights and when you add all the girls info up and divide it by that many girls, the answer is this. In reality, the exact height and weight may not even be present in that group. They could be half tall and skinny & half morbidly obese munchkins. Tom could have eaten apples for 3 days. 6 apples then 2 apples then 1 apple. 9 apples over 3 days = 3 apples per day. Did he ever eat 3 apples? Heck no. Why do you think the smartest kids in the class get grief for messing up the curve for the other kids? Please stop using average to pick yourselves apart or build yourselves up. Theyre not even real.
