Averoff Estate 2005, Katogi Averoff (PGI Metsovo, Greece) Cabernet Sauvignon With a small amount of Merlot 5% and Cabernet Franc 5% to complement the blend of the Estates ikon wine, necessary to round the outlines of a Cabernet Sauvignon which comes from the vineyard Giniets, located at an altitude of 900m to 1050m. Perhaps the higher planted vineyards in Greece. Deep ruby color with intense aromas of small black fruits, blackberries, blueberries, plums, hints of eucalyptus, spices, violets and cedar. Complex and concentrated with good acidity, medium plus body, high and savoury tannins with a grandiose and clear presence of fruit on the palate . Perfectly balanced with nerve, charm and very good structure . Long and pleasant length. Best until 2023.
