Aviara Interest Group Endorse Hon Leo Ogor for Another Term It was like a triumphant entry for Rt. Hon Leo Ogor to Aviara on the invitation of Aviara Interest Group a political pressure group committed to the cause of democracy, good governance and quality representation. Hon Leo Ogor arrived the venue in grand style and was euphoniously heralded to the venue amidst chants of Oyibo Isoko rending the air. Speaking at the occasion, Mr Cornelius Oreri AKA Watare, Coordinator of the Aviara Interest Group said the group aims and objectives include to develop the community, and to ensure that women and youths in the community are empowered. He also stated that the group is geared towards ensuring that Isoko is well represented in the House of Representatives. Speaking further, Mr Cornelius said Hon Leo Ogor is a goodman who Isoko can trust to deliver. He looks at the pains of everyone. He is accessible and a man of full of wisdom. On his part, the Deputy Coordinator of the group and Chairman of PDP Araya Ward Engr. Mike Abolo described Hon Leo Ogor as a gentleman who is fit to represent the people of Isoko. I have seen the various empowerments he has given to the constituents. It is my belief that if we send him back again he will deliver more for the people. The President-General of Aviara Kingdom, and one time Secretary of Isoko South Local Government Hon Phillip Osima said it will be political immaturity for Isoko not to return Hon Leo Ogor because for the first time in our history Isoko has a voice that sounds loud and clear. Whenever Hon Leo Ogor speaks in the house, people ask where is that man from? You cant have a man like that in the war front and remove him to put a neophyte. If Isoko has to grow as a nation, we must promote this vocal voice. Speaking further, Hon Phillip Osima described Hon Leo Ogor as a very amiable person that is accessible to all and has a listening ear to all problems. There is hardly any community in Isoko that he has not attracted any Federal Government project to. There is also few communities in Isoko that he has not recommended somebody to be employed in the Federal MDAs. The group unanimously endorsed Hon Leo Ogor for another term. In his response, Hon Leo Ogor said he is encouraged to do more when people appreciate what he has done. He went further to assure the group and the entire Aviara Community that more development projects will be attracted to Aviara in particular and Isoko in general. High point of the occasion was the donation of a brand new Toyota Corolla Car to the Coordinator of the group by Hon Leo Ogor. Dignitaries present at the occasion include Engr Goodluck Idele Chairman Isoko South Transition Committee as well as his Isoko North Counterpart Hon Sam Idise, PDP Chairman in Aviara Ward, Mr Festus Omoyibo Ibakporo among others.
