Avocado Lovers - Ill share my secret with you... I buy my avocados at Costco and they always ripen within a couple days of each other. I found a way to keep them for up to two weeks or more once theyve ripened. Make a cut from the top to bottom of the avocado on one side and then put it in the snack drawer of your fridge. This stops the ripening process. When I want a few slices for a salad or sandwich, I cut the slices off the seed and peel the slices, leaving the rest of the avocado on the seed with the skin still intact. (I cut off the brown part.) Pop the avocado into a sandwich bag and back into the fridge until I need more. Let me know how this works for you. Marie
